In our capacity as LPG distributors, we are currently facing a wide range of challenges spanning policies, operations, finance, marketing, behavioural aspects, and, most significantly, safety concerns. Compounding these issues is the non-increment of the Distributor Margin as outlined in the Escalation formula developed by the OMCs and the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MOPNG). This prolonged delay has had a detrimental impact on our operational and delivery costs, resulting in substantial increases in fixed and variable expenses. As a consequence, it has become increasingly arduous for distributors to uphold the necessary standards of service for our valued consumers.

 

Each passing day brings new hurdles and demands that strain our resources and capabilities. As distributors, we strive to ensure the safety of our operations and provide reliable services to our customers. However, the current circumstances make it increasingly impossible to meet these objectives without the necessary support and resources.

 

In view of the aforementioned challenges, it has become evident that we need a strong and united front to raise these issues on an appropriate platform for conclusive redressal.

 

FLDI was established in 2013 with a single motive: to safeguard the interests of LPG distributors like you and prioritize the well-being of your valuable customers. We understand the challenges you face daily, particularly in navigating the one-sided policies of the OMCs, specifically the misuse of MDG as a tool for blackmailing distributors to meet unattainable targets.

 

FLDI firmly believes in engaging in meaningful conversations with the OMCs in a professional manner, aiming to achieve desired results through negotiation and advocacy. Our approach is business-oriented, with the ultimate goal of securing the best interests of all channel partners involved. We strive to foster a mutually beneficial environment for distributors, OMCs, and customers alike.
